Central Illinois Pickleball Club Outdoor Open Play Season

"Sunday Funday"

CIPC will facilitate open play sessions held at Glen Oak this year with a few minor adjustments.

This Sign up is for Single Mingle

This Sunday Funday is our newest rotation at Glen Oak called "Single Mingle" Open Play. This session is for individuals aged 18+ of all skill levels. It will be a fun day dedicated to meeting other singles and making new friends through pickleball.

Courts will be organized based on the ages of those in attendance, but please plan to rotate and play with everyone.

Ladder Play at Parkside (9 Aug 2026)

Central Illinois Pickleball Club Indoor Ladder Play

CIPC will facilitate a Ladder Play session to be held at Parkside Fitness

on Sunday, August 9

Advance Registration for MEMBERS starts on July 6 ($8)

Registration open to non-members on July 10 ($12)

This ladder play will utilize 4 pickleball courts and will accommodate 18 players (2 Players sitting at any given time)

Courts are reserved from 3 PM until 5 PM

Please be ready to start play at 3 PM

Grouping: At the start of the session, you will be asked to start on a court that most aligns with your skill level. Obviously a judgement call by you.

Court 4 being the highest skill level.

Games will be played for 12 minutes. When the facilitator calls "Time" You will finish that point and the game is over. In the event there is a tie, the first team to have reached that final point will be declared the winner. By using this format, play time will be equalized among all players.

3v3 Pickleball Showdown

Tournament Details

Team Make-Up:

3 players per team

Coed: Teams must be made up of at least one female player. All female teams are permitted.

Each Match consists of 3 games:
1.      Game 1: Player #1 & #2
2.      Game 2: Player #2 & #3
3.      Game 3: Player #1 & #3

Games shall be gender matching if possible.

Divisions:

There will be 4 different divisions for this event:
1.      3.0 – 3.5 (max individual DUPR is 3.6)
2.      3.5 – 4.0 (max individual DUPR is 4.1)
3.      4.0 – 4.5 (max individual DUPR is 4.6)
4.      4.5+ (no DUPR limit)

The team will self-select which division is best suited for their team’s overall skill level while also considering fair play for all. You do not need to have an established DUPR to play. However please be aware of the individual DUPR limits stated above. This DUPR limit of course only applies to those individuals that have an established DUPR.

Space is limited to a max. of 4 teams per Division. In each division - 2 teams are allocated to BNPBC and 2 teams are allocated to CIPC.

You do not need to be a member of either club to play, however your team captain needs to be a member of the respective club to use a team allocation. It is acceptable to be a member of one club and play on a team of the other club as long as you are not the team captain.

Cost:
$25/person if you are a member of either club
$40/person if you are not a member of either club

Parkside Fitness, Pekin, IL

Saturday August 15^th, 9:30 – 3:00, 30 minutes for registration & warm-up. First match will begin promptly at 10:00.

Match #1 – 10:00 – 10:50

Match #2 – 11:00 – 11:50

Match #3 – 12:00 – 12:50

Semis - 1:00 – 1:50

Finals 2:00 – 2:50

We will have use of all 8 indoor pickleball courts
Each division will utilize the same 2 courts throughout round robin play.

Tournament Format:

Not DUPR reported

Regular scoring, Games to 15, win by 2

Ball: Franklin X-40

Round Robin Play – Play the 3 other teams in your division

After Round Robin play, there will be 2 rounds of playoffs

Tie breakers for Round Robin play will be determined based on winner of head-to-head

Each person is guaranteed 5 matches / 10 games (3 pool play and 2 playoff Rounds)

1^st and 4^th place team will play Semis

2^nd and 3^rd will play Semis

Winners of Semis will play for Gold/Silver

Losers of Semis will play for Bronze.
