STAN ULRICH MEMORIAL EVENT
To Benefit KBStrong - Fighting the Fight
The Fight against Glioblastoma
KBStrong is a 501C3 public charity managed by Jodi Brown who's own husband, Kevin was also taken by this brutal disease.
CIPC is partnering with KBStrong to help raise funds to try to find a cure for this cancer by funding research and also helping victims families.
We lost Stan in 2025 to this devastating cancer.
Stan's history in the pickleball community included the following:
The Washburn Outdoor Pickleball Courts were some of the first in central Illinois.
4 Courts with lights, windscreens, practice backboard, airport windsock. Balls
are provided through donations. There is a first aid kit accessible via combo lock.
Modernized restrooms are 40 yards away.
Park amenities such as pavilion, running water, shade trees, and benches.
Stan did all the legwork, & arm twisting required to make this happen in a small
village.
There is a separate entry for Individual Round Robin.
That tournament will be an individual round robin format with maximum 16 entrants in each division for the Men's Division and for the Women's Division.
