Central Illinois Pickleball Club Outdoor Open Play Season

    "Sunday Funday"

CIPC is introducing open play sessions that will be facilitated by the club every Sunday from 3-6 PM.    Our outdoor open play season will begin June 8th and run through September 28th.

Each Sunday will cater to different groups/skill levels.  We will have an organized 4 on/4 off paddle rack system utilizing the 4 eastern pickleball courts at Glen Oak Park.  During this time, our club will have dedicated use of these 4 courts.  The other 4 western courts will not be utilized by CIPC and open to the general public as usual.   It is free to register, and you don't have to be a member of CIPC to participate.  Registration for these open play sessions is not required but is recommended.

    Novice/Social Open Play Season Dates

    June 8th, July 13th, August 10th, September 14th

The dates listed above are dedicated to those that are learning the game and at the earlier stages of development/shot execution.  This session is for those that would consider themselves novice players.  To use a snow skiing analogy, this session is for those that would be on the bunny hill through the green runs and is intended to be a safe and informative place to learn and play the game, make new friends, and have some laughs.

If you would like information on how to better define and determine your skill level, please visit the USA Pickleball website or follow the below link to USAP's definitions of skill levels.  There are also helpful skill assessment sheets available for download to assist you in evaluating yourself.
