    Central Illinois Pickleball Club Indoor Open Play Season

    "Sunday Funday"

    CIPC will facilitate open play sessions held at Parkside Fitness for our indoor season beginning October 5th.  This is a continuation of our outdoor open plays held at Glen Oak this year with a few minor adjustments.  It will be held every Sunday from 3-6 PM at Parkside Fitness in Pekin.    Our indoor open play season is currently scheduled to run through May 10th but may be adjusted based on Spring 2026 weather.

    Each Sunday will cater to different groups/skill levels.  Every Sunday will alternate between Novice/Social and Intermediate/Advanced.  We will have an organized 4 on/4 off paddle rack system utilizing 6 pickleball courts.  Registration for these open play sessions is required on our website.  It is free to register on our site; however each person will need to pay $5.00 at the door when you check-in, paid to Parkside for the use of their facility.  You must register for each individual Sunday that you plan to attend.  Attendance for each Sunday is capped at 30 people to keep wait time off the courts to a minimum.

    Novice/Social Open Play Description

    Novice / Social is a skill level dedicated to those that are learning the game and at the earlier stages of development/shot execution.  This session is for those that would consider themselves novice players.  To use a snow skiing analogy, this session is for those that would be on the bunny hill through the green runs and is intended to be a safe and informative place to learn and play the game, make new friends, and have some laughs.

    Hello Members----We heard from many of you, and have modified the Single Mingle Age. It's now open for 30 to 55 years old.  Let's have fun and play some great pickleball. This is open to members and non members. Tell your friends!!

    This isn’t your average pickleball night—it’s a fun way to meet other singles aged 30-55,  while playing the sport we all love. You’ll rotate partners throughout the evening, so there’s plenty of opportunity to mix, match, and connect both on and off the court.

    ✨ Details

    ·        Who: Singles of all skill levels ( you must know how to play the game)

    ·        When & Where: November 7th  at East Side Centre, East Peoria beginning                     at 5:30 PM

    ·        Why: Because pickleball + new connections = a perfect match

    ·        Cost: $10 per person ( registration required)

    Come for the pickleball, stay for the conversation—and who knows, you just might find your perfect doubles partner.

    These open plays are dedicated to those that would consider themselves Intermediate to Advanced players.  To use a snow skiing analogy, this session is for those that would be on blue to black runs.  These sessions (depending the make-up of the players on the court for each game) could range from a balance of recreational/competitive play to more advanced competitive games.
